Carmel Mission
The Carmel Mission is known not only for its beauty but it
historical significance. The Carmel Mission Basilica is recognized
as the national shrine to Father Junipero Serra. It has become one
of the more popular sites for weddings. The Carmel Mission is open
to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM and
from 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM on Sunday.

The all-inclusive admission fee to tour the Mission grounds,
Basilica and Museums is a follows:

(Robinson Jeffers House) Visit this unique original Carmel
Cottage, stroll the English Style Gardens, experience the
atmosphere that inspired some of America’s finest poets, and step
back in time. Located at 26304 Ocean View Avenue in Carmel (between
Stewart Way and Bay View Avenue). Docent lead tours occur hourly on
Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. Groups are limited to six
